When you have plan going to Mui Ne, there will be a few things you wanted to do - chill by the beach, visit the famous sand dunes and some other attractions that you couldn’t miss out on that.

 

There are several ways you can get to the sand dunes. If you prefer to go on your own, you can either rent a motorbike or a bicycle. Just be prepared for a long, windy and sweaty ride if you go by bicycle as it’s a roughly 35 km long ride from the resort street, Ham Tien, Mui Ne centre.

 

To visit the famous and popular sightseeing of Mui Ne such as white sand dunes, red sand dunes, fairy stream, fishing village, you should take a private jeep tour instead of share with a group tour. Why private tour because you will take your time and not having to adjust to others.

 

White Sand Dunes Mui Ne

 

The tour will start with a long drive on the other side of Mui Ne beach to the White sand dunes, the jeep had no windows or walls. So, if take the sunrise tour at 4:30am, this is a very useful tip: bring a sweatshirt, a hoodie or whatever that can warm you up a bit.

 

 

When you reached White sand dunes from the foot hill, here visitors has two options - walk up the sand dunes or pay for the jeep to take you up to the top for an extra 9 USD/ person.

 

The price for renting an ATV depends on the size of the bike. The small ATV (max 2 people) and the big ATV (max 3 people), you can rent a quad bike for 20 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hrs...

You will get back into the jeep and driver will drive to the red sand dunes.When you reach the red sand dunes, driver will park at the bottom of the dunes. There is no jeep or ATV service to bring you up to top of the red dunes because no permition by the Goverment.

 

 

The red sand dunes is a bit smaller than the white sand dunes. However, once you had reached the top, you can have the opportunity to chill for a while, lay down in the sand and enjoyed the moment, have a look to Hon Rom beach and Mui Ne fishing village.

The next stop was the fishing village. As soon as you caught a glimpse of the hundreds of boats lined up in the ocean, it was so colorful and beautiful somehow, and there are so many boats. On the shore there are ladies selling fish and seafood in masses. In the water, fishermen in both big and small fishing boats, the fishermen take their boats out to start fishing in the middle of the night, and go back early morning.

The driver will park the jeep car at the entrance. You have to walk down the stairs, there was a small stream of water, or rather a creek perhaps, the water gets the reddish color from the clay and limestone particles from the rocks and sand on the shore/sand-wall. Travellers usualy walking through the creek without their shoes.

 

 

The Fairy stream is like a huge wall, the majority of the wall was made out of sand. The wall was also filled with very uniquely shaped rocks.
