TOUR ITINERARY

Tour start at 2:00am, the tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City early morning and relax on the private car for 3 hours drive to Ninh Kieu Can Tho in the Mekong Delta.

5:00am: Take the river trip by boat to Cai Rang Floating Market to join the hustle and bustle of the locals. Discover how an authentic vermicelli soup dish from Vietnam is made before wandering through the village and meeting some of the locals.

7:30am: Return by boat to Ninh Kieu wharf to take the car continue to visit My Tho and Ben Tre.

In My Tho, boarding the motorboat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River until reaching Cồn Thới Sơn (Unicorn Island), from here taking a horse cart to reach a performance site where Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity). Here we can enjoy a variety of tropical fruits while listening to traditional folk songs performed by local artists

Afterward, being on a small hand-rowing boat (the main mean of transportation in My Tho & Ben Tre) and slowly cruising through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lives from both sides of the creek can be observed.

Before having lunch, passing through bee-keeping farm and enjoying honey tea, a typical Mekong house can be viewed here. Then, it is lunch time at the local restaurant after a short walk.

After lunch, boarding the motorboat and heading to learn coconut candies making process from a workshop. Sample of candies can be tasted.

14:00pm: Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop off at your hotel or any other centrally located area in the city about 16:30.
