ITINERARY HO CHI MINH TO TAY NINH DAY TOUR

Schedule:
– 7:00am: HCMC hotel/ airport pick–up and drop–off in an air–conditioned car with English speaking tour guide
– 9:00 am.: Arrive at Ba Den Mountain to visit the world”s largest train station and are free to hunt clouds on the top of the mountain and visit Ba Pagoda.
– 12:00: Guests move to Phuoc Lac Duyen vegetarian cuisine for lunch.
– 14:00 – 15:30: Go to shop at Long Hoa market (the largest market in Tay Ninh)
– 16:00: Visitors visit Cao Dai Holy See – The most unique spiritual building in Vietnam
– 17:00: Visit Go Ken Pagoda for 100 years
– 18:00: Guests can enjoy Trang Bang noodle soup and back to Ho Chi Minh City

Viewing Tay Ninh attractions in the day tour
Ba Den Mountain
The height of the Black Virgin Mountain is about 996 meters above sea level, making it the highest peak in the southern Vietnam.
Reach the top of the tallest mountain in Southern Vietnam as you embark on a round–trip cable car ride to the summit by 3 different routes. As you ascend, marvel at the panoramic views of lush forests, waterfalls, and picturesque landscapes. Enjoy a serene natural landscape from the glass window throughout your 1.8–km cable car ascent to Ba Den Mountain’s summit. Ba Den Mountain is nicknamed "the roof of the Southeast".
Explore a World of Adventure and Spirituality
Once you reach the summit, immerse yourself in the rich history and spirituality of Ba Den Mountain. Visit ancient pagodas, such as the Linh Son Thien Thach Pagoda and the Van Son Pagoda, where you can pay your respects and learn about local customs and traditions. Cao Dai Temple – Tay Ninh Holy See
Tay Ninh Holy See is an important religious work of Cao Dai religion, built in 1933 and completed 1955 after a period of interruption. The internal system includes the Holy See, the Temple of the Mother and the Towers.
The system was notably built with bamboo–reinforced cement, unique design and meticulous sculptures. In addition to the Holy See, the complex has many other important works plus a plant population, especially surrounded by big trees. Therefore, when coming to the Holy See, visitors feel very relaxed with fresh climate.
Long Hoa Market
This is a cross–shaped building complex located on a square lot, surrounded by eight streets with eight gates. The busiest market in Tay Ninh province sells many specialties such as rice paper, rice paper with sesame and especially processed salt.
Go Ken Pagoda
Thien Lam – Go Ken Pagoda is one of the earliest built temples in Tay Ninh province. At present, this more than 100–year–old temple is the most unique and beautiful spiritual tourist destination in Tay Ninh.
It currently has one of the largest statues of Quan The Am Buddha in the Southeast region. The statue on a lotus–shaped foundation in the middle of the lake inside the temple grounds makes this place more dignified and tranquil.
Tay Ninh specialty Banh canh Trang Bang
In Tay Ninh, Trang Bang soup cake or Banh canh Trang Bang is famous for clear broth, delicious toppings (boiled pork slices, blood pudding, pork leg, culantro, ground black pepper) and special thick cylindrical noodles.
The broth is cooked from pork bones, pork legs, carrot, daikon and jicama. Squid, shrimp, shallots, onions are grilled, then put into a cloth strainer and added into the broth’s pot to add more flavor to the broth. The broth must be clear and pleasant, the pork leg’s meat must be tender but not overdone. The noodles of Banh canh Trang Bang is 2 thicker than noodles of Vietnamese roll, Nha Trang rice noodle soup with fish pie, Hanoi kebab rice noodles. They must be white, tender and chewy. Before being served with broth and toppings, noodles should be boiled in boiling water for a half of minute.
Dinners usually order Banh canh Trang Bang with a roll set consisting of tender boiled pork leg slices, chewy dew–wetted rice paper, sweet, sour and hot fish sauce dip with carrot pickles, herbs and vegetables including Tay Ninh forest vegetables. Just wrap all fillings in rice paper, then dip into fish sauce and tuck in. Then use a spoon to sip the broth and eat rice noodles with toppings. Trang Bang soup cake and Dew–wetted rice paper roll are a good couple at any restaurant serving Tay Ninh specialty foods.
