Cu Lao Cau or Cu Lao Cau island is 110km from Phan Thiet city and belongs to Phuoc The commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province. It is really the best place for those who are interested in nature, extreme sports and adventurous travels.

Cu Lao Cau island is a small and young island rising in the middle of the sea, about 9 km away from the seashore. Tourists can spend 30 minutes to get there by boat. The typical characteristics of it are smooth sloping sandy beach, blue seawater, endlessly hills and mountains that create charming landscape.

Enjoying the beach

Bãi Tiên (Fairy Beach) is considered the most beautiful beach according to locals here. On Cù Lao Câu, besides enjoying the sandy beach with crystal clear water or the rock pools of all shapes and sizes that surround the island, you can explore many other interesting things.

See the coral reefs

A special biological feature of Hon Cau is that the surrounding water possesses a tropical marine ecosystem that includes coral reefs and patches of sea grass. They not only bring eco-diversity but also serve as the habitat and egging laying site for many precious marine species. Thus, Cù Lao Câu is one of the best places in Việt Nam for anyone that wants to feast their eyes on natural coral reefs.

On Cù Lao Câu, the coral reefs are well preserved. Only a few metres from the shore is already enough to allow you to take a closer look at the colourful reefs and the schools of fish joyfully twisting and turning in all directions. We advice to any swimmer or diver is to bring along a pair of sandals to avoid cutting your feet on oyster shells.

Private tour depart from Mui Ne or Phan Thiet city at 5:00am

The car will pick you up at the hotel/ resort for the trip to Phuoc The port. The Cau island pristine sea with its beautiful coral reefs, fishing and snorkeling are popular activities at Cu Lao Cau. Take a dip in the clear, gentle sea and watch as myriads of colorful fish flit around the white, crisp corals. Glass bottomed boat is great for kids, as are cruises through the island, the sea here is safe for swimming, and the beautiful scenery, colorful fish and fresh air make Cau island the ideal spot to take your family.

The adventure will starts with a glass bottom boat which they will take you to the ocean and see the coral reef throught the boat”s glass and you can jump out of the boat to swim and snorkle.
