ITINERARY:

7:30am The tour guide will pick up at your hotel/resort from Mui Ne for one day trip to Phan Rang Thap Cham.
First visit place you should not miss is the Po Klong Garai Towers, a cluster of the most majestic and beautiful tower remaining of Vietnam.
Before going to Bau Truc pottery village, you will have a stop at Ba Moi grapes garden by the local farmer, here we will have a chance to learn and know more about the local farmer”s life activitives and growing the grapes.
After grape garden, continue to My Nghiep Weaving Village, this village is 10 kilometers outside of Phan Rang City, has a reputation for its high quality weaved products and well-preserved Cham culture. Over the years, the local Cham have developed techniques to weave brocade according to a traditional method.
The last visit is Bau Truc pottery village, here you will see the Cham people making the pottery by hand-made.
3:00pm Come back Mui Ne, on the driving way, you will see the sheep by locals herd from grazing fields back to animal lodging.

PHAN RANG NINH THUAN ATTRACTIONS OVER VIEW

Bau Truc Pottery Cham Village

As one of the oldest pottery village in Southeast Asia, Bau Truc is in Ninh Phuoc district, Ninh Thuan province. Phan Rang is 10km south of Bau Truc pottery village.

Bau Truc has about 400 households, 85% have remained faithful to the pottery. According to legend, pottery by his wife Poklong retransmission deals for women in the ancient village with bare hands, dirty soil that could create masterpieces with such stunning shapes, the impossible is indeed impeccable as jars, bottles or miniature pyramids, look very nice. Ceramic products are faulty temperature 500-600 for 6 hours, then taken out to spray color (color type are extracted from the left ridge, forest left on the market), then continue baked within 2 hours. So Bau Truc pottery characteristic yellow color of red, pink, black, gray, brown streaks... as unique ceramic products.

Coming to Bau Truc pottery village, visitors will see a separate beauty than the pottery village elsewhere. People here will be happy to guide visitors how to make pottery shaped as desired.

My Nghiep brocade weaving village

Located 10km southeast of Phan Rang City, My Nghiep village is the cradle of brocade weaving of the Cham ethnic people.

Legend has it that in Champa Kingdom in the 17th century, a lady named Po Nagar came to the area and taught weaving for a couple who lived in Cha Leng, now My Nghiep village. The villagers learned the craft and spread it widely.

According to village artisans, many stages are required to weave a piece of brocade cloth ranging from pitting for cotton fibers to rolling, soaking, drying, dyeing, and starching. Every stage needs the workers’ meticulous attention. To create the delicate and unique patterns, the weavers must possess an acute aesthetic sense and experience in mixing colors.

Brocade weaving has long been a cultural symbol of the Cham ethnic group and their brocade products are favored nationwide.

Po Klong Garai Towers

Po Klong Garai towers located in Phan Rang Thap Cham remains a relic by the Ministry of Cultural relic 1979 art architecture - a cluster of the most majestic and beautiful tower remaining of Vietnam. The tower was built in the late thirteenth century the beginning of the fourteenth century. This is a unique project, are recognized as architectural relics of Cham art and sculpture, was built under King Shihavaman (Vietnamese as Che Man) to worship the King Poklong Garai (1151-1205), the king has made extensive efforts to civilize and ruled the country.

Poklong Garai Tower is a total of three towers: the Tower (20.5m), Fire Towers (9.31m) and Tower Gateway (8.56m). This work qualified architecture, art, sculpture reached a peak.

The layout and structure of each tower is a work of art unique architecture. Each side, each floor and each side of each tower are carved with motifs decorated pottery, stone with all types of people, Dragon tail, leaf shape, the Cow god, etc. All works carvings, sculpture reflects the full meaning of art and religion of the Cham. To date, Poklong Garai remains are still a mystery to contemporary architecture.

Every year, in late October on the calendar, the ethnic Cham where the festival of ancestor worship. Kate festival is one of the biggest festival of the Cham ethnic. These days, on the packed tower, up the Cham is offering this lens, any other ethnic as well to join to learn more about the traditions of Cham ethnic, are the most numerous visitors from other places on this tour to visit the scene of Ninh Thuan and to relieve the curiosity about traditional Cham with thrilling legends.

Grape garden Ninh Thuan

Ba Moi’s vineyard has become a popular tourist destination in Ninh Phuoc district Ninh Thuan province. The vineyard, famous for producing high-quality grapes through the application of the VietGap cultivation model, has contributed significantly to new rural development in Ninh Thuan.

By producing safe grapes, grape wines, nectar, and jams, hundreds of farming households in Ninh Thuan have developed a grape growing area of 1,100 hectares, supplying quality products for Ba Moi processing facilities.

Visit grape garden, travelers can learn about the planting and production process and enjoy home-made wine, juice and fresh fruit at reasonable prices from VND50,000 to VND100,000.

Sheep farm Ninh Thuan

Ninh Thuan has a year around hot climate, with a short wet season during September and November. The climate has helped the province gain a nationwide reputation as the ‘holy land’ of sheep.

Today the sheep population is estimated at roughly 100,000, primarily in the districts of Ninh Phuoc, Bac Ai and Thuan Bac.

At around 8:00 a.m. every day, locals herd the animals to grazing fields where they feed on wild grass. The outdoor activity usually ends at around 4:00-5:00 pm.
