Fairy Spring Mui Ne is about 18 km North East of Phan Thiet, visitors will meet an extremely romantic poetic place that is Suoi Tien (Fairy Stream). Suoi Tien is situated in a nice place, one side of Suoi Tien is white and red sand mountain intermixing together, another side are rows of shading coconut palms. All of these things create a poetic and charming stream. The water stream of Suoi Tien has the red color from the sunlight and from the red sand in the bottom of the stream.
Hon Rom Mui Ne has long become a tourist attraction everyone cannot miss when enjoying a trip in Mui Ne. Traveler once comes here will never forget the cheery, pleasant and agreeable impression of the most beautiful, imposing beach. Hon Rom consists of the front beach and the back beach which suit all need off all class of people, even all kind of hard-to-please people.
Mui Ne Fishing Village, at the north end of Mui Ne bay, is about 7 km north of Mui Ne Town. The coastal road leads straight into the town (with a left turn required to continue up the coast). At the entrance to town is an overlook with a splendid view of hundreds of colorful fishing boats mooring on the water. Further along into town, just off the main road, there is a small but colorful market. The village also offers plenty of swaying palm trees, creating a peaceful air for this village.
Takou Mountain is a must for any visitor to Mui Ne. About 30 km southeast of Phan Thiet City, it take one hour drive from Mui Ne, it has its own special magic. Hike up the mountain or take the gondola through beautiful tropical rain forest full of birds and wildlife to the Mountain Pagoda at the peak. The pagoda was built in 1879 at the height of 457m compared to the sea level.
About 30 km south of Phan Thiet along the coast is an area known for its Ke Ga lighthouse on a small island just across the water. It is an absolutely gorgeous stretch of beach, and as you get closer to the lighthouse there are strikingly colourful and intricate rock formations all along the shore. Built in 1897 by a French architect named Chnavat, the lighthouse is 64 m high and assessed as one of the most beautiful lighthouses in Southeast Asia. With its tower alone is 41m high, the lighthouse is situated on the height of 25 m compared to the sea level. It is octagonal and can light as far as 22 nautical miles.
Poshanu Towers, located on Ba Nai Hill - 7 km to the northeast of Phan Thiet City, are one of the most precious and important cultural vestiges of the Champa Kingdom. Built in the late 8th century, this group of towers worships the Shiva Genie, who is highly respected by the Cham. Beside these three towers, there was once a temple, but it has been buried in the ground for more than 300 years. Inside the main tower, there is an altar, on which a couple of Liga-Yoni, a symbol of the existence of the Shiva Genie, is worshipped.
Mui Ne Beach or Rang Beach is the magnet of Phan Thiet. It is a 16-kilomettre stretch of soft-white sand, turquoise water and endless sunshine. Gracefully shaded with coconut palms, Rang Beach describes the ideal beach in imagination of many people. It offers the very best conditions for swimming as well as some world-class surfing, kite boarding and windsurfing. You should not miss a stunning sunset on it also.
