Old Fishing Village Museum Mui Ne is an interactive museum of local old fishing village. It was divided into 14 areas unfolding the 300 year of local fishermen and the famous fish sauce making industry.

Mui Ne Old Fishing Village (Lang Chai Xua Mui Ne) is the first fish sauce museum in Vietnam provides visitors with a thorough understanding of the traditional Vietnamese fishsauce in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.

The Old Fishing Village 3D Museum with 1,600 m2 dividing into 14 interactive exhibits depicting 300 year history of Phan Thiet Mui Ne including the famous and traditional fish sauce making industry.

Visit the ancient fishing village gallery, tourist can try becoming a fisherman, discover the origin of fish sauce, and enjoy the original sauce taste.

The facility is a highlight of Phan Thiet’s ancient fishing village project, which also includes a theatre and an area for local specialties.

Fishermen Show Mui Ne

Fishermen Show unfolds the legend of a whale skeleton drifted to Phan Thiet sea. The body sacredly honored as South Sea General was worshiped at Van Thuy Tu temple by Phan Thiet people. The soul turned into a fisherman living with village people, supporting and saving village men at sea.

Fishermen Show is a spectacular cultural show in Vietnam where professional contemporary dancers and local musicians perform traditional instruments with live singing on 4 storey stage. Together with water effects, flying equipment, LED screen, flying sand dune, ox and cart, all bring alive Mui Ne Phan Thiet fishing village culture.
