New Expressway Toll Fees Starting March 3, 2026

Beginning March 3, 2026, two major highways connecting southern and central Vietnam officially started collecting tolls:

Dau Giay – Phan Thiet Expressway (99 km)
Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet Expressway (over 100 km)

These highways significantly reduce travel time and make long-distance journeys smoother and safer. The toll rates range from 900 – 1,300 VND per kilometer, depending on the vehicle type.

For travelers using private car services, the toll fees are calculated automatically through Vietnam’s ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) system, which allows vehicles to pass toll gates without stopping.

When traveling from **Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne, private cars normally use the Dau Giay – Phan Thiet Expressway to shorten the journey to about 2.5 – 3 hours.

Dau Giay – Phan Thiet Expressway
Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet Expressway

The Vinh Hao – Phan Thiet Expressway alone stretches over 100 km and helps reduce travel time significantly compared with the old coastal road.
